Ben and Leaticia's Engagement Shoot at St. James Gardens, Berczy Park, Music Garden, Bluffers Park and Rosetta McClain Gardens

Hello hello! As the sun starts to linger a little longer over the city, I’m so excited to share this beautiful engagement session with one of my 2026 wedding couples. As a Toronto-based multicultural wedding and engagement photographer, these are the kinds of days that remind me why I love what I do—capturing love stories across some of the most iconic and diverse locations in the city.

We photographed this session in September of last year, and I’m already counting down to documenting their wedding this summer. The couple curated such a thoughtful list of locations that truly reflect the charm, texture, and energy of Toronto.

We began in the heart of downtown at St. James Park, where the lush greenery and tucked-away pathways created an intimate, romantic atmosphere—perfect for soft, candid engagement photos in the city. From there, we made our way to Berczy Park. The vibe shifted to something more vibrant and playful, with the iconic dog fountain adding a uniquely Toronto backdrop that always photographs beautifully.

Our next stop was the stunning Toronto Music Garden, one of my favourite locations for engagement photography in Toronto. The waterfront views paired with the artistic landscape design make it ideal for couples looking for something both elegant and creative.

After a quick break, we headed east for a golden-hour session in Scarborough—some of the best spots for scenic engagement photos in the GTA. Bluffer’s Park never disappoints with its dramatic cliffs and lake views, while Rosetta McClain Gardens offered a softer, garden-inspired setting to end the day.

It was a full but incredibly rewarding shoot, and we wrapped it up in the sweetest way—celebrating with milk cake from D’amo Dessert Boutique, one of my favourite local spots.

All in all, this was such a fun and memorable engagement session. I absolutely loved working with this couple—their style, their energy, and the way they showed up for each other in every frame. Sessions like this are what make Toronto engagement photography so special - diverse locations, meaningful moments, and stories that deserve to be captured beautifully.

Feven and Antoine's Engagement Photos at Guild Park and Bluffers Park in Scarborough

Hello Hello Hello!

Welcome to another blog post on my website! Today I’m so excited to share the engagement photos from Feven and Antoine’s e-shoot!

We photographed this lovely couple at the very start of summer, and I absolutely loved their simply sophisticated style as well as the clear vision they brought to the shoot. With their wedding just around the corner this weekend, I can’t wait to capture the festivities alongside my team!

Feven and Antoine’s love story is also a beautiful reflection of culture—Feven is of Eritrean heritage and Antoine is of Jamaican heritage. I already know their wedding celebration will be full of vibrant traditions, music, and joy.

For their engagement photos, we visited two of my favorite locations in Scarborough: Guild Park and Bluffers Park. Both are places I return to again and again for e-shoots, and here’s why:

  • Guild Park & Gardens – This spot is a photographer’s dream. The park is filled with historic architectural pieces, lush gardens, and tree-lined paths that create such a timeless and romantic backdrop. It has a way of making every couple look like they stepped right into a storybook.

  • Bluffers Park – Just a short drive away, Bluffers Park offers an entirely different but equally stunning atmosphere. With sweeping lake views, sandy shores, and the dramatic Scarborough Bluffs rising in the background, it brings a sense of openness and natural beauty that balances so well with more formal settings. It’s the perfect mix of serene and dramatic.

Together, these two locations gave us a variety of textures and moods, from elegant to relaxed, which really captured the essence of Feven and Antoine as a couple.

I’m so looking forward to their wedding day—it’s sure to be a vibrant and heartfelt celebration of love and culture!

Samantha & Raje | Romantic Toronto Engagement Session at Alexander Muir Gardens

Samantha and Raje are tying the knot this weekend, and I could not be more excited for them! This beautiful couple was such a joy to photograph during their engagement session at Alexander Muir Gardens in Toronto.

Nestled in the heart of midtown Toronto, Alexander Muir Gardens is a hidden gem for engagement photos. With its lush greenery, stone pathways, and romantic archways, it creates a timeless and elegant backdrop that feels like stepping into a fairytale. It’s one of my favorite spots for couples who want a mix of natural beauty and architectural charm in their engagement pictures.

When Samantha arrived in her stunning red dress, I was in absolute awe—the bold color popped beautifully against the garden’s greenery and added such vibrance to the photos. Her chic pixie haircut gave her look a modern, stylish edge. Raje’s crisp white shirt and beige pants created the perfect balance to Samantha’s bold red dress, and together they radiated sophistication and charm.

Their love story is just as beautiful as their session. Having met back in high school in Jamaica, Samantha and Raje’s relationship has blossomed into a true lifelong romance. Photographing them felt natural and effortless—the way they laughed together and embraced each pose I suggested made my job so easy. Their connection shines through in every image.

I can’t wait to capture their wedding day and continue telling their love story through my lens. Engagement sessions like this remind me why I love being a Toronto wedding and engagement photographer—each couple brings their own energy, style, and story to the shoot, making every session unique and unforgettable.

Tiffiny and Haben's Engagement Shoot at The Riverwood Conservancy in Mississauga

Hello hello! Welcome to another blog post on my website! Today, I’m so excited to feature the beautiful couple that is Tiffiny and Haben!

From the moment they arrived at the Riverwood Conservancy for their engagement shoot, I knew we were in for something truly special. Their effortless style, natural chemistry, and warm energy made them such a joy to photograph — and their outfit choices couldn’t have been more perfect for the serene and romantic setting. Something about this shoot even gave me London, England vibes — maybe it was the architecture, the landscape scenery, the energy, or just how timeless they looked together!

I absolutely loved this couple’s style — so uniquely them. The soft, neutral palette they chose not only reflected their personalities but also beautifully complemented the natural tones of the photoshoot location.

Tiffiny’s look was the embodiment of soft elegance. She wore a flowing, sun-kissed yellow midi dress with delicate pinstripes that moved beautifully with the breeze. Draped casually over her shoulders was a light blue sweater — a subtle, preppy touch that added depth and charm to her already graceful ensemble. Paired with pearl accessories, a natural curly updo, and minimalist white heels, her look was fresh, romantic, and effortlessly chic.

Haben complemented her style perfectly with a smart-casual vibe that felt laid-back yet polished. His navy blazer over a mustard-toned shirt struck just the right balance between formal and relaxed, while his charcoal slim-fit pants and casual sneakers gave the outfit a grounded, modern feel. The way he looked at Tiffiny throughout the shoot truly made the images come alive.

Together, their style felt authentic — a beautiful reflection of who they are as a couple: timeless, thoughtful, and full of joy. It’s always a gift to photograph couples who bring not only love but also personality and presence to the session, and Tiffiny and Haben did just that.

This shoot is a great example of how thoughtful wardrobe choices can really elevate your photos. When colors harmonize with your location — whether soft pastels, earthy neutrals, or rich seasonal tones — it brings a natural cohesion and glow to every image.

The couple’s wedding day is just around the corner, and my team and I couldn’t be more excited to work with them again. It is going to be one beautiful multicultural (Eritrean, Ukranian, Kenyan, Canadian) wedding. Stay tuned for more to come from this wonderful couple!

Rochelle and Jermaine's Joyous Fall Wedding at Ancaster Mills

Hello Hello Hello! Welcome to another blog post!

Today I get to feature the gorgeous wedding of Rochelle and Jermaine! The pops of color were mesmerizing. The ceremony was emotional and the wedding party was just fabulous!

One of the reasons I love being a wedding photographer is being privileged to see some of the most beautiful locations and venues. Ancaster Mill in Hamilton is a breathtaking wedding venue that perfectly blends historic charm with natural beauty, making it such an ideal location for a fall wedding. I loved shooting here!

Nestled along a picturesque waterfall and surrounded by lush forests, this venue offers a romantic and intimate setting that comes alive with vibrant autumn colors. I loved this venue so much I am going to list why I feel it is the perfect place for an intimate wedding.

Why Ancaster Mill is Perfect for a Fall Wedding

  1. On-Site Chapel for a Seamless Ceremony
The venue features a charming on-site chapel, The Mill Chapel, which offers a warm and intimate atmosphere for exchanging vows. Its large windows frame the surrounding trees, creating a naturally stunning backdrop as the fall foliage transforms into rich shades of red, orange, and gold.

  2. Stunning Outdoor Photo Locations
Ancaster Mill’s scenic grounds provide a variety of breathtaking spots for wedding photos. The cascading waterfall, stone pathways, and wooden bridges offer a fairytale-like setting, while the fall leaves create a dreamy golden glow. Whether capturing intimate moments by the water or in the forested surroundings, the venue’s natural beauty enhances every shot.

  3. Cozy and Elegant Reception Spaces
The venue’s rustic yet elegant event spaces, featuring exposed wooden beams, large windows, and fireplaces, create a warm and inviting ambiance—perfect for the crisp autumn air. Guests can enjoy the beauty of the season from the indoor spaces while still feeling connected to nature.

  4. Seasonal Cuisine & Exceptional Service
Ancaster Mill is known for its exceptional farm-to-table dining experience. In the fall, couples can incorporate seasonal flavors into their wedding menu, featuring locally sourced ingredients that highlight the harvest season. I found the staff here to be exceptional from the on-site coordinator (best coordinator ever btw! I forgot her name but she was amazing. So much so I was trying to convince her to open her own wedding planning company) to the serving staff. I was highly impressed.

  5. A Picturesque Fall Atmosphere
The combination of the historic mill, stunning fall foliage, and the cozy, intimate setting makes Ancaster Mill a magical venue for an autumn wedding. The warm tones of the season, the natural textures of the landscape, and the charming chapel all come together to create an unforgettable and picturesque celebration.
