A big thank you to everyone who did such an amazing job on this shoot! Please do check out the work of all the vendors involved in this shoot and support them as well! Sharon and Jared's E-shoot at Parkwood Estate

Hello Everyone!

Summer is here! My favourite season! I am happy to share my latest blog post from the e-shoot of Sharon and Jared. These two are such beautiful people inside and out. I first got to meet them last year when they won our Spring Picnic giveaway! An amazing event with some of the best vendors this city has to offer! I will blog that shoot at another time, but let me tell you from the first day I met these two I saw a young couple so in love that it was absolutely beautiful to witness!

Sharon and Jared actually got married last month (after having to postpone from last year due to COVID) and it was a pleasure to cover their beautiful wedding! Congratulations to them both and I look forward to sharing images from their wedding on my blog soon!

For this engagement shoot at Parkwood Estate, the couple began their photoshoot dressed in formal wear, and then later on they changed into traditional Tanzanian inspired outfits. I thought the colours turned out fantastic and really complemented nicely with the grounds at Parkwood estate!

Josephine and Kwabena's Engagement Photoshoot at Guild Park

Hey Everyone!

Welcome to another blog post on my website! I am excited to put this one out while we are still sort of in coat and sweater weather here in Toronto hehe.

Last month I got to cover the beautiful Ghanaian Canadian American wedding of Josephine and Kwabena. The wedding took place here in Toronto, and it was such a beautiful event!

I will be blogging that wedding soon but before that, I am sharing some images from their e-shoot! I took their engagement photos back in March at one of my most favourite locations to do e-shoot photos; Guild Park!

Josephine and Kwabena have known each other for a very long time. I believe it is about 15 years as they told me at their e-shoot (basically since they were kids). They had been in a long distance relationship for a while before they tied the knot, as Kwabena is from the States and Josephine is from the G.T.A.

We had so much fun taking these images, even if the entire grounds were super muddy on this day back in March. It was a real task trying to navigate our way through the grounds lol.

It was refreshing to see a laid back casual style that was selected by Josephine and Kwabena for their e-shoot outfits. The cream colors really complemented the architectural backdrops at the Guild so nicely!

Until next time! Wishing you beautiful happy days ahead!

Munira and Yassin's Anniversary Shoot at Preto Loft and Edwards Gardens

I am always honoured when couples ask me to take their anniversary images. Munira contacted me to take her wedding anniversary photos with her husband, months in advance of the date. She told me she had been watching my work for a while and just had to have me take her anniversary photos. I was truly honoured that she considered me to take these special images!

These images were taken in August of last year. We started the shoot off at the unique Preto loft studio. Munira wore a gorgeous satin pastel pink dress that had an elegant flow to it and her husband’s outfit complimented hers quite nicely. They honestly gave off such regal vibes! Preto Loft is always a joy to shoot at and makes for an excellent setting. Later on we headed to Edwards gardens for the second half of the shoot which we got to do during golden hour, and the light was absolutely glorious! MashAllah!

Location: Preto Loft by Mintroom Studios

Location 2: Edwards Gardens

Munira’s Makeup: Done by Munira herself

Munira has a lovely youtube page featuring lifestyle content which can be found in the link below:
