Jamad and Loyan's Wedding at the Royal Ambassador Event Centre!

Hi Everyone!

Happy Fall! I am so happy to be starting off the Fall season with this blog post featuring the wedding of Somali Canadian couple Jamad and Loyan. It was definitely one of my absolute favourite weddings of last year. Planned by Weddings With Nia, It was a wedding certainly deserving of a standing ovation, and that she did get (by the bride and groom, guests and us vendors) at the end of the evening! Thank you to my lovely second shooter Shahzia for assiting me on this day! I am also super excited to share that this wedding was featured on the latest issue of Munaluchi Bride Magazine which was just released the other day! How cool!!! It’s awesome to see representation from Canadian Vendors (and black/ African vendors at that) on an international magazine focused on multicultural weddings. Georgina and Jahangir's Wedding at Chateau Le Jardin

Hey Everyone! I am so excited because I get to share a super beautiful wedding today! A bringing together of two cultures. Georgina and Jahangir’s wedding took place in September of last year and it was a gorgeous event filled with the love of family and friends.

We started the day off with getting ready photos at the bride’s brother’s house. Georgina got her hair and make-up done by the ultra talented Dipika of Blush by Dipika Grover. I loved the natural but stunning make-up look that she gave the beautiful bride and the hairstyle was just so intricately gorgeous.

After getting ready shots we headed to Centennial park for the first look! I was so excited to find a willow tree in the park and this where I had the bride and groom do their first look. It was such a lovely moment to capture as the groom excitedly saw his wife for the first time.

The wedding venue was the beautiful Chateau Le Jardin! I have shot here a number of times and I really love this venue especially for summer weddings due to the beautiful garden they have on the grounds.

The reception was so much fun and that was due in part to it being super organized and hosted by one of the top MC/DJ duos in Toronto. I love it when an MC can hype up a crowd and make people laugh, while the amazing DJ got everyone off their seats and on to the dance floor. All this truly made my job easier as I got to capture everyone in great spirits and just purely enjoying themselves! So yeah if there is something I would recommend future brides and grooms invest in for their wedding, It would definitely be a great MC and a DJ who knows how to spin some good music!

Wedding Details from H and A's wedding

Salaam Everyone! So today's blog post features details from the wedding of a pair of doctors who came all the way from England to have their beautiful wedding in Toronto (where the bride is from)! Purple was the main colour here and everything was fab! From the gorgeous backdrop and canopy created by Dream Wedding Decor to the lovely floral centrepieces crafted by Zuhoor Designs (she also did the bride's bouquet). Guys trust me if you ever need a florist Zuhoor Designs is the way to go! Her creativity knows no boundaries when it comes to floral arrangements and If you haven't already checked out the blog post before this one to see the wonderful floral crown she created for a portrait shoot I did then please do so!

I cannot share the actual outdoor portraits of the bride and groom that we took due to client privacy but let me tell you it was a super cold and windy fall day so I have to give kudos to the bride and groom for sticking it out as long as possible during our outdoor wedding portrait session. Hey Everyone! Glad to have you here! I am uber excited about today's blog post! I can only share details due to client privacy but I just absolutely love how much thought was put into the little details at this wedding. Everything from the bride's dress to the sweet table at the reception was amazing! I also think I am now in love with "Blush Pink" as a wedding colour. A little backstory; the bride was one of the first people to give me a chance when I was first starting out with wedding photography by booking me for her friend's wedding a few years back. It was nice to come full circle and capture her wedding this time around MashAllah. Enjoy the blog post!

Francesca and Joel's Wedding at the Scarborough Bluffs (Bluffers Park Marina and Restaurant)

Hi Everyone! Today I am so happy to be able to share this stunning wedding that I covered at the end of this past summer! This wedding took place at the Bluffers Park Marina and Restaurant situated in gorgeous Scarborough Bluffs (which by the way is my absolute favorite place in the G.T.A). There was so much love and pure joy at this intimate wedding (where a number of the guests had flown in all the way from the Caribbean) that it was such a delight to witness and have the privilege to be the wedding photographer for!
